The association ʻAmputees4Amputeesʼ was officially launched today 14th November 2009, at Inspire (Razzett tal-Hbieberija) in the presence of the Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and his wife Kate Gonzi, Opposition Leader Joseph Muscat, ministers and members of Parliament. The program for the launch consisted of a speech by one of the members Twanny Buhagiar, where he spoke about his experience and how the association has helped him, a speech by the President of the association Amy Joan Zahra and a concluding speech by the Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi. The program was concluded by a song with the name ʻGħix Illumʼ, sung by committee member Kristy Lee Seychell. Refreshments were then available for all those who attended.
